Beer

Germany has one of the oldest beer traditions and greatest beer varieties in the world. Approx. 1,200 breweries in Germany produce over 5,000 brands and more than 90 million hl beer per year. The majority of it is being consumed in Germany, but German beer is also highly appreciated abroad. Beer lovers in over 150 countries in the world drink more than 15 million hl every year.
