GEFA Exportservice GmbH is organising the trip: Market exploration trip Morocco 2025

On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) and the German Association of Producer Organizations Fruit and Vegetable (BVEO), GEFA Exportservice GmbH is organising the next market exploration trip to Morocco together with its partner the German Chamber of Commerce in Morocco.

The average per capita consumption of fresh fruit and vegetables in Morocco is around 150 kg per year and has grown steadily in recent years. The size of the Moroccan fruit and vegetable market is estimated at EUR 4.04 billion in 2024. German exports in the sector have been low to date, so the market exploration trip offers German companies the ideal opportunity to familiarise themselves with the market and assess its potential.
