GEFA Exportservice GmbH is organising the trip: Business trip Romania

On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL), GEFA Exportservice GmbH is organising this business trip in close cooperation with the AHK Romania.

With an export value of EUR 2.0 billion in 2023 (+12%), German exporters in the sector have increased their exports to the country by around 550% since it joined the EU in 2007. This is by far the highest growth of all accession countries in 2004 and 2007, and the country is now in third place in the absolute ranking of these accession countries behind Poland (EUR 7.1 billion) and the Czech Republic (EUR 2.9 billion). The country is therefore clearly one of the so-called shooting stars of the German export target markets.
