Welcome - 11th GEFA Diplomats' Salon on 21 May 2025

The 11th GEFA Diplomats' Salon will be held at the International Club of the Federal Foreign Office on 21 May 2025 under the motto International exchange of agricultural goods – basis for mutual benefits.

We are again expecting very high-ranking guests from foreign embassies in Berlin, the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) and the Berlin Club of Agricultural Diplomats.

The president of the club, Mrs Avril Gommard, Agricultural Attaché, French Embassy in Germany, will be speaking to us, as we hope the new minister for food and agriculture will. We are looking forward to the keynote speech by Dr Janine Pelikan, Deputy Director, Thünen Institute of Market Analysis, who will be talking about The Power of Trade Agreements: Agriculture in a changing world.
Agricultural and economic diplomats from foreign embassies in Berlin are cordially invited to this event.
